The pink color is hot / bright , pink , exactly what I wanted color wise The leash is thick rope and the clasp is thick too The fuzzy handle is cute and comfortable on the hand , and wont rub like non padded handles
Very thick and durable. Well made with a soft grip that definitely cushions your hand. Very happy with this!
It's very sturdy and heavy. It's not for small dog.
The handle has a sherpa covering on it, which I do enjoy, but it is very very stiff. The handle doesn't bend whatsoever. It is very very hard. I can put it up onto my arm and hold onto the rope part, but I see no reason to do that, I can get rope burn that way, when there is a nice handle that should be not stiff. The clasp that holds onto collars and harnesses is secure, so it is a safe and secure leash. It is also heavy duty and will last a very long time. I also prefer shorter leashes to have more control. 5 feet is ideal to me.The leash, in terms of value, is hard to pin down. When I ordered it, it was priced at $14.44, but right before being taken off the market it was sold at $1.72. I feel that $14.44 is a fair price for it, but the $1.72 price makes me feel suspicious.
I live in an area where it can get very cold and snow during the winter. My dog still likes walks when it is cold, and snow doesn't bother him. This is why I was interested in this Plush Dog Leash with Cozy Sherpa Handle.Pros:- Good quality, heavy duty leash.- Latch, hardware works great. Good, strong spring.- Super soft, fuzzy handle.- Recycled and vegan materials.- Looks good.Cons:- None. The leash was in great condition. It is strong and heavy duty. The hardware works well. The spring is good and strong. It is a bit too heavy duty for what I need considering that my dog is a small/medium, but it should last. The material is recycled materials and vegan, which I appreciate. In the warm months, I sometimes use a longer leash. However, in the colder months where there could be ice and a bit more danger, I prefer a shorter leash. This one is five feet which should work very well.Overall, it is a good quality, comfortable leash. I'm looking forward to using it this winter. Considering the quality, durability, and comfort, I think the value is good.
This is a very sturdy leash with thick rope, strong hardware, and a sherpa-lined handle that makes it comfortable to hold even if your dog pulls. At 5ft, it keeps your dog close, which is great for training or crowded areas, though it does not offer much slack for roaming. On my smallest dog the leash feels oversized, so I would not call it ideal for every breed. It is best suited for medium to large dogs who need a strong, comfortable leash. The quality and plush handle would also make it a thoughtful gift for new dog owners who would absolutely have need for such a sturdy, short leash while training an energetic puppy.
I am very pleased with my purchase of this Pet Passion Plush Dog Leash with Cozy Sherpa Handle. It's a heavy duty leash that is well made. The 5-foot length is a nice size to be able to let my pup walk freely but still able to keep control. The super plush sherpa loop handle is a good size whether held or wrapped around my wrist. I'm really looking forward to using this more in the cooler weather.Overall, a well made leash for a reasonable price. Would buy again. 5 stars!
At first when this leash arrived, I wasn't sure how I felt about the plush fuzzy handle, but after taking my 120 lbs mutt for a walk, I can say I'm totally sold on this leash. First of all, the fuzzy plush handle is more functional than decorative. When a big dog pulls hard on a regular strap harness handle, it tends to dig into your hand, sometimes almost to the point of being painful or uncomfortable. This soft plush handle gives you a good grip and it doesn't dig into your hand. The other thing I really like about this leash is that the material is very lightweight. Despite being very thick with probably a breaking point of hundreds or even thousands of pounds, the material gives you impressive strength and security without added weight. Also, there is a very small amount of stretch in the leash, which I think is good because it offers some shock absorbancy against the "rip your arm out of it socket" type lunges from big dogs. The length is right, the hardware is good, and the stitching where the handle meets the leash is heavily reinforced. This is a really nice heavy duty quality leash perfect for handling big dogs.
This is a well-made dog leash that feels much heavier duty than the lightweight ones I've used in the past. My dog only weighs 11 pounds, so the strength of this leash is probably overkill for our walks, but it does feel sturdy and secure in hand. The plush sherpa-lined handle is a nice detail that makes it comfortable to hold, especially on longer walks. At 5 feet in length, it provides a good balance between giving my dog freedom to explore and maintaining control. Priced at around $14, it seems like a great value for the quality. Even though it is built to handle larger dogs, it works just fine for small breeds too, and I can see it lasting for years.
The material feels super durable. You can tell right away it's built to last. The stitching is strong, and the clasp is solid and secure, giving me peace of mind even when my puppy gets excited and pulls a bit.One of my favorite things is how comfortable the handle feels. It's soft just enough to give a secure grip without digging into my hand. Whether we're going on a quick walk around the block or a longer hike, it stays comfortable the whole time. However, because of the fluffy material, I would suggest using this during cooler months like fall and winter, because in the TX heat when I start sweating, it personally feels uncomfortable to hold because my hands get sweaty,The length is perfect too, long enough to give my dog freedom to explore while still keeping control.
This Pet Passion plush dog leash is really nice. I have a husky that loves to pull on walks so the soft plush handle is very comfortable for me to hold. The rope is somewhat lightweight but very heavy duty and it isn't stretchy. This is a great quality and value leash.
The Pet Passion Plush Dog Leash is a unique leash with a plush faux fur handle. The plush handle is soft but a bit bulky. I can see it being nice to use in the winter due to its ability to hold warmth. The plush handle is easy to hold and does not rub uncomfortably when my dog pulls on the leash. It feels nice on my skin if I loop it over my wrist and securely hold the leash at the faux leather attachment point. Instead of the typical flat nylon webbing material used for most leashes, it is made with a thick round poly nylon rope. There are a few details between the listing and the tag on the item with discrepancies. The listing says the leash is made of durable cotton. I don't believe that to be accurate. There is no visible part of the leash that appears to be made of cotton. The listing accurately lists the length as 5 feet. However, the tag on the leash says it is 7 feet long. It absolutely is not 7 feet long and does not stretch to reach 7 feet long. It is slightly shorter than I am tall and my height is 5'2". I am accustomed to leashes being the standard 6 feet in length, so this one is slightly shorter than the norm. This shorter length may be useful for those with dogs that need to be pulled close when passing people or other pets on a walking path. The leash has a nice metal buckle that swivels to prevent the leash from becoming twisted. I love that feature since my dog has a talent for twisting leashes with stationary buckles. I would have liked to have a ring attached to the leash so I could attach my poop bag holder, but this isn't a deal breaker. The leash is more than capable of controlling my 50 lb GSD mix who pulls due to excitement. The current price of $14.91 is a bit higher than most similar offerings on Amazon.
