Bought this for my 3 month old red nose pit she had to get used to it but she does bite on it still because she is teething (I think) so we play tug of war w it. So far it's durable and thick. The color is so cute.
Love the leash - wish the easy trigger snap hardware was easier to attach to collar and lighter (for smaller dogs/puppies).
I really like the look of this twisted cotton rope leash. It seems pretty heavy duty with the rope thickness to the larger hardware. The hook has a nice trigger snap, making it easy to attach to my dog's collar. The leash feels soft and comfortable in my hand when I walk my dog, and I like the bit of give in the cotton rope. I also love that it has a ring for waste bags and a spot to carry my dog's foldable plastic water bowl. The length is also good. Now for the cons: the cotton robe is fraying a bit by the handle, which isn't a big deal but could bother some people. Also, if your dog tends to chew, fraying could become a problem. Not sure how well it cleans yet as it still looks great.Overall, I like the look of this leash and the quality of the hardware. I'd probably buy another one, but I'd choose the black color this time.
This pet leash is heavy duty and easy to hold. It has a loop you can hold or wrap around your hand. The leash is 6ft long and twisted, and it gives my dog plenty of length to walk on without getting too far away. I wouldn't recommend getting this leash wet, as I don't think the water would do very good on the material over time.
This leash is my newest favorite dog item. It is very well made; top notch quality. The clamp is ideal for front clip or mid back harnesses. I don't have to worry about it opening up on me. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I would recommend this great quality leash at this very affordable price.
I have used this leash with our 50 lb Labrador mix dog for a few weeks now and was waiting to leave a review because I am pretty mixed about how I feel about it. On one hand, when the leash arrived, I was really surprised by its quality and just how soft the material is, it essentially feels like nice soft t-shirt material that is woven into a leash. However, the downsides started to show as soon as I started to actually use it on our daily walks. The material itself is actually very stretchy which is a problem if you are trying to keep your dog from getting into things that they shouldn't be, and this problem is compounded by the length of this leash overall. The loop at the top is a good sized to put my hand through even with winter gloves which was appreciated, but the actual metal snap at the other end of the leash where it attaches to your dog's collar is gigantic. For our medium-sized dog, I would say that this is too big and it is certainly too big for any type of small dog. With all that in mind, I can't really say that I expect this leash to be particularly durable or to maintain its beautiful color over time, but it would be a cute addition for walks around the town if you have a large or very large breed of dog. Overall, I would say that it is a decent value.
This is a Tucker II heavy duty 6 foot cotton rope leash, from Pet Passion. I misjudged from the photos just how heavy duty the fastener is on this leash, honestly. I use a regular dog leash to train former feral cats how to live in a household, and I thought this would be perfect because it's round and wouldn't get caught on as many things, but the hardware on this is way too big for a cat. Which also means it would be way too big for a small dog. But if you have a medium size dog or larger, as I used to have, this would be a very nice leash. The rope is good and heavy, the hardware is solid, and the leash is comfortable to hold. It really feels like a quality product. I would say though that at the current price of $16.00 it seems a bit on the pricey side for a cotton rope leash.
Cotton Rope leash with heavy duty clip for collar attachment. Rope has a little stretch to it, material is soft and fairly thick so it doesn't irritate or scratch my skin and it's not uncomfortable if I hold on to it. Additional ring by handle to clip on training devices, poop bag holders, other things you may have that you don't want to carry separately. Cons: Being that it's cotton rope, and heavy rope at that, if it gets really wet, this is HEAVY and takes a bit of time to completely dry all the way through. Not the leash I'd use on rainy day walks, or letting the pup take off into a puddle or water source with the leash attached.
This is a very heavy duty leash. It's made of a very soft cotton rope. The hardware is steel and very sturdy. This leash is nice and long too. It works great for large dogs. It is comfortable to hold for long periods of time.
Love this! PLEASE MAKE A MATCHING HEAVY DUTY ROPE COLLAR!
I've been using this tieout system for a while now, and overall it's been a reliable option for giving my dog some outdoor freedom while keeping things controlled. The metal hardware feels sturdy and wellmade, and the clips attach smoothly without sticking or bending. The hardware seems to be the strongest part of the setup. The rope itself is where my opinion is a bit more mixed. It has a slightly stretchy feel to it. On one hand, that bit of give actually helps soften the impact when my dog reaches the end of the line, so it's gentler on both the dog and the anchor point. On the other hand, the stretchiness makes me question its longterm durability, especially for dogs that pull hard or chew. It appears that it may fray over time.Installation was straightforward, and the swivels help prevent tangling, which is a big plus. My dog has been able to move around comfortably without getting wrapped up in the line. Weather resistance seems good so far rain and sun exposure haven't caused any noticeable wear.As for pricing, I've noticed it fluctuates. Because of that, I can't comment on whether it's a good value at any specific price point, but I can say that the product performs well for what it is.Overall, this is a solid tieout system with dependable hardware and a rope that works fine for moderate use, though I'd like to see a bit more robustness in the line itself. I'm giving it four stars because it does the job effectively, but there's room for improvement in the rope quality.
This rope leash has a solid feel to it. The rope itself reminds me of the material used in dog tug toys, with just a bit of give. That slight stretch actually helps a lot with a dog that pulls or suddenly lunges, like mine, because the rope softens the impact instead of transferring all the force straight to your hand. The hardware is where this leash stands out. The clip feels heavy and well made, with a strong spring that opens smoothly and snaps back into place without scraping or hesitation. It feels like solid metal rather than something thin with a coating on it. The connection points are reassuringly secure, and the O-ring appears to be welded closed rather than bent into shape, so there's no concern about it slowly opening over time. The rope is tightly twisted and holds its shape well. You can't easily untwist it by rotating it the opposite way. Because it's constructed from multiple strands twisted together, it's more flexible and comfortable to handle, but it also means that a dog who likes to chew leashes could potentially work through it faster than through a single-piece leash. That hasn't been an issue for me, but it's something to keep in mind depending on your dog's habits. The tag doesn't specify the material, but it feels like it could be cotton rather than a slick synthetic. The length is ideal for everyday walks. It gives my dog enough freedom to explore without feeling restrictive, but not so much slack that he can get himself into trouble. The color is a true gray in person, closer to the seller's photos than it looks in my pictures.Since using it, I haven't noticed any fraying, rusting, or loosening of the hardware. Overall, it feels durable, thoughtfully constructed, and well suited for dogs that pull or move unpredictably on walks.
This is a strong, chunky, heavy duty pet leash. I really like the woven, rope like cord. The baby pink color matches my girly dog's harness perfectly. The clip us rather large and heavy as well. On the one side, it's very easy to clip and unclip. However, I worry about the weight of the clip adding to the weight of the leash for my rather petite dog. The knot of the rope around the clip is also a bit cumbersome and chunky. Overall, I really like this leash and know it will last a very long time.
This leash blends 100% organic cotton with a six foot length and integrated handle for controlled walks. The trigger snap hardware attaches firmly to collars or harnesses without slipping. Crafted in a solar powered facility and packaged in recycled materials it balances eco friendly production with reliable performance for everyday outings. The thick cotton rope feels substantial and withstands tugging without fraying during active use. The integrated handle provides a secure grip for sudden stops or guiding through tight spaces. Metal hardware remains smooth and rust resistant even after exposure to rain or mud. Unlike synthetic options the cotton softens over time but retains tension during strong pulls making it suitable for larger dogs.Attaching the snap is quick and the connection stays locked during use. The six foot length gives dogs room to explore while keeping them within reach. While pricier than basic leashes the organic materials and durability justify the cost. The leash holds up well under regular wear and the recycled packaging aligns with its sustainable design ethos.Cotton absorbs dirt faster than nylon requiring frequent hand washing to maintain appearance. It also lacks reflective strips limiting visibility in low light. Despite these flaws the leash delivers consistent performance and thoughtful construction. It is a dependable option for those seeking eco conscious gear that performs without compromise.
Bruiser is an older dog, but that doesn't stop him from spotting every squirrel, rabbit, or deer in the woods near our house. This leash has been my little piece of sanity during those moments. The rope is thick but soft, so it's easy on my hands, even when he decides to test its limits. The hardware is heavy and solid, and it actually feels like it's going to hold up, which is comforting when Bruiser goes full-on chase mode. What I like most is that the leash doesn't feel like the weak link. When Bruiser bolts, all the pressure is on me, and the leash just does its job.. hangs on and keeps him connected without making me worry about it snapping. The six-foot length is perfect: enough room for him to explore, but not so much that he gets away from me.It's not fancy, but it's dependable, and that's exactly what I need for a dog like Bruiser. For the price, it's a solid leash that actually makes walks feel more manageable.
I can't believe how nicely woven this leash is! The quality is incredible. The length is perfect, not too long or too short. This is a great option if you are looking for something different than a retractable leash and something studier than your average nylon leash. This is perfect for large dogs! I got the gray cotton rope one, which looks very cute. The clasp on the end is so sturdy, it looks like it will last forever. The only downside to this product is that it looks like a rope toy! My dog immediately tried to grab it from me when I was getting it out of the package. As such, I plan to put the leash away when not in use instead of hanging it on the hook in the kitchen. I'm afraid he will try to take it! However, that is not a problem that will lower the rating for me. This leash is incredibly well made and tough. Highly recommend!
This leash is really well made. The metal hardware on this leash is some of the largest I've seen on a leash and has some heft to it, it seems very nice. The rope is a bit over half of an inch wide, making it easy to hold. I appreciate the wider rope because if your dog is a puller, a smaller rope would tend to hurt. This rope is also very soft, so it wouldn't be rough and abrasive it if rubbed on anything. The part that ties to the end that clips on seemed a little awkward at first, but in practice it didn't cause any issues during my walks. For a downside to the soft rope, I was a bit worried about it dragging on the sidewalk and looking dirty or getting frayed, especially with the light pink color.I enjoyed the o ring by the handle, this is the second leash I've had do that and when I got the first one I wondered what it was for. This is useful if you want to clip multiple leashes together to make a longer leash or, what I use it for a lot of the time, is to clip the holder for the waste bags for my dogs to it. Now that I have one, I'm not sure I'd get a leash that didn't have one, so I am glad this one does. The other thing that surprised me about this particular leash is it has some give to it. When your dog pulls there's a short period of time where the pressure escalates. It's very different than the standard flat nylon leash I normally use where it's nothing and then all of the force of the dog. It's not a big deal, but something that I thought was nice.Overall this is a nicely made leash and they clearly had quality in mind and my daughters are just over the moon with how it looks. Given the reasonable price and how well it appears to be made, I think it's worth buying.
This leash definitely feels heavy duty and will hold up to walking my boxer with no problems. The softness of the rope is kind of nice compared to the rough mesh leashes I've used in the past. The only issue we've had so far is this rope is similar to one of his toys so he's tried to turn around and chew on it thinking it's a toy as well but he's slow and dumb but eventually figures things out.
it's good quality, the rope is thick and the 6ft leash length is adequatei think the quality is good, but certainly not the greatest but it'll definitely get the job done and it'll last a while, probably not forever especially if you have a playful dog or a slightly larger dog, i think the wear and tear will eventually catch up to it, it comes in different colors but i got the gray one, they are 1 size only so it'll all be the same length. very easy to attach to the collar and the metal snap on hook is very heavy and dense, i like the quality of that, and feels very securefor $16, i think that's good value for the money and i'm ok if it'll be able to last at least 1 year, it's great for taking your dogs out for a walk!
This leash looks very heavy duty at first glance, but it's made of very fine thread woven together. This makes the leash stretchy when pulled, but it also has some loose threads here and there. Time will tell if the loose threads have any effect on the quality of the leash but it seems to be working fine so far. The leash is about medium weight, it's not super light but it feels light for the size. I'm happy with it
So cute, big buckle and durable rope leash, matches the collars perfectly. We like the rope leash that is easy to clean and matches great back to pet passion collars.
I have several styles of dog leashes, most flat and made of nylon. This cotton rope style is easy to grip and does not cut into your wrist or skin. The clip works well and is easy to attach to the dog collar. I do wish I'd chosen a darker color since this medium pink color shows dirt to a certain extent. My dogs are not chewers, but if you have a dog that chews things, this rope texture might tempt them, but if not, this could be a good choice.
This leash is perfect! It's really durable, reminds me of my horses lead ropes. The hardware is really good quality, and clips onto the pet passion harnesses very well. It's exactly 6 feet long, which is exactly what I wanted for my mini aussie. It's super comfortable to hold, and the handle is great. The pink is a beautiful shade and matches the harness perfectly. So easy to slip and hold, I would get another one for my other pups.
I like this thick rope style leash and the clasp on this is really strong. The rope leash and the clasp feels like high quality materials. The leash is thick and comfortable to hold, and the clasp is thick and feels really sturdy. It's attached to each other well too. I have a small-medium size dog and this leash works well for her. She sometimes gnaws on the leash here and there playfully but so far no wear and tear so this seems pretty durable. I got the gray color and love it.
This is so gorgeous that I don't even want to use it. Ha ha. Seriously though, I do save this for town visits and not the yard. It does function well too.
